4. Can the global index be created only through OMS console? Can't it be created in XML?

11. Does the TcaplusDB cluster cache hot data into the memory when reading it? What is the cache size of memory

Currently, the first 1 GB of a single engine file is mapped to memory, and the latter is mapped to disk. Generally speaking, all operations are performed on disk, so disk IO util is relatively high. But it is normal that the combined cost of disk + memory is considered to be lower than the cost of pure memory.

12. Where can I view the when data expires for tables with expiration on the TcaplusDB OMS console? 

It can be viewed in the TcaplusDB OMS Console - "Table Information - Data Expire". TTL can only be configured by the administrator. However, data expiration cannot be guaranteed to be deleted immediately after expiration. This is because of periodic scanning, which depends on scanning speed, mainly to prevent excessive data volume.

13. Is it necessary for the service to be stopped to upgrade the TcaplusDB of the corresponding App, Zone, access layer, and storage layer？

No, there is no need to stop the service.

14. In the process of upgrading TcaplusDB API by the project team, besides replacing the latest TcaplusDB API library on the app side, does TcaplusDB need to do anything else?

• Update of TcaplusDB API version.
• Update of tbase version used by TcaplusDB API.
• Confirm with the TcaplusDB team whether the access layer and storage layer of the corresponding App and Zone are upgraded to the corresponding version.

15. Is it possible to extract the table data of the specified player and the specified date, such as January 25?

At present, it supports rollback by cold backup, including 15 days for IDC environment and 7 days for Tencent Cloud environment. You can contact the DBA to extract data. If there is a need to recover data later, the table + data can be recovered only by the content of permanent backup.

16. When the cluster has only one table, how many shards can be set at most?

A single table can have a maximum of 10,000 data shards, depending on the app's demand for QPS and delay.
